Using our collection

NOTE: Non-dentistry users who wish to visit the library: the Faculty of Dentistry building continues to be FOB only. Anyone without a FOB who wishes to use our space and physical collection can email us to arrange a time for a visit between Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm.

The Dentistry Library is part of the University of Toronto Libraries' system which includes over 40 libraries across our 3 campuses. Our collection includes thousands of items, listed in our online catalogue. The links below are meant to describe how to borrow our print materials or access our online collection. 

Library cards, T-Card, UTORid - This link lists information on how to obtain a library card (TCard) which is required to borrow our print materials. There are several options for cards depending on the user's relationship to UofT and preferences.

Get items from non-UofT Libraries - If you cannot find an item at UofT, you may request it from another university library using this link. Please note, you require an active TCard to use this service

Alumni and Visitors - This page lists services and collection access policies available for alumni and visitors. 

Library Account- Click on the right top corner of the LibrarySearch icon to login and access your account. Here you can place books on hold, pay fines, view your checked out books, etc.
