Digital vertical file
The vertical file was a tool used in libraries as a starting point for research prior to search engines. It includes an actual cabinet with folders. Folders are organized alphabetically and include newspaper articles, pamphlets, and subject bibliographies on dental related subjet. The vertical file is no longer in use, it's contents were digitized solely for historical purposes.
