Pride Month 2024

Happy Pride Month! To celebrate and commemorate Pride this year, reflect upon ways that 2SLGBTQ+ individuals might face discrimination or mistreatment in the medical field generally and dentistry specifically, and consider how clinical practices and research can be made more inclusive of 2SLGBTQ+ people. Reading up on the relatively new field of 2SLGBTQ+ oral health research is one way to build and maintain awareness of the issues that 2SLGBTQ+ people face in healthcare.
This June we've put together a non-exhaustive list of resources about 2SLGBTQ+ communities and oral health, as well as some that touch on 2SLGBTQ+ health more broadly.
